CELL CHURCH

What is Cell Church?

A “cell” is a group of people who meet in one of several host homes once a week. The meetings operate loosely around a structure of: Welcome-study-discussion-prayer. It is a very relaxed environment in which faith can be explored openly, honestly and prayerfully.

We are currently using the cells as a basis for studying Freedom in Christ (www.ficm.org.uk).  Freedom in Christ helps Christian people to understanding of the truth about their identity in Christ and the spiritual battles they face every day.

Why Cell Church?

Many people nowadays find commitment to Sunday worship a challenge  because of jobs and unavoidable demands elsewhere.  In response to this we have developed a cell group system. Not only does this allow a diversified form of church but it also enables a level of participation not possible in the larger Sunday morning services.

Cell church meet in the non-threatening atmosphere of the home, it gives those who are new to the faith and non-Christians an environment to develop new friendships, to meet with Jesus Christ, and learn how to apply the Bible to enrich everyday life.

And Cell is fun! There is always time in the calendar for purely social evenings.

There are three cell groups who meet at the following times:

  • Monday 7:30-9.00pm

  • Tuesday 7.30-9.00pm

  • Wednesday 7.30-9.00pm

For further information about the cell groups please contact Rev. David Perrett on 01283 222966.
